Since its launch in 2020, Udyam Registration has replaced the old Udyog Aadhaar system. Over 3.5 crore MSMEs are now registered — but millions more are still operating without registration, missing out on scheme eligibility, priority lending, and legal protections.

| Micro Enterprise | Up to ₹1 Crore | Up to ₹5 Crore |
| Small Enterprise | Up to ₹10 Crore | Up to ₹50 Crore |

Important
Udyam Registration is self-declared and based on your last ITR and GST returns. Providing wrong investment or turnover figures can lead to cancellation. GrowMore verifies all figures before submission.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using wrong NIC code — each industry has a specific code; the wrong one misclassifies your business
- Entering investment figures excluding GST (investment should exclude GST)
- Not linking Aadhar with mobile (OTP validation fails)
- Registering without PAN — mandatory for businesses with GST liability
- Creating multiple Udyam registrations for one entity — only one per PAN is allowed
